All pages on the Expanding Vision Website are Printer Friendly. This means that when you print from any page on this site (using a standards-compliant visual web browser) all that will be printed on the paper is the Content of each page — the Navigation links will not be printed. This saves trees, and saves you money on paper, looks better, and just makes sense.

The Expanding Vision Logo, titled “Entrance” (as in captivate, engross, hold spellbound), was created by Zachariah Lindsey Heyer. It is at the top of each page, and on the Entrance page of the Expanding Vision Website.
One of the images used in the logo is a picture of the Sun’s active regions and magnetic loops as recorded by EIT in the Fe IX/X 171Å line. The temperature of this material is about 1 million K in the lower corona.
The image, recorded by the Extreme ultraviolet Imaging Telescope, and the preceding description appear on the Solar & Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) website.
